Letters from our missionary in the Czech/Slovak Mission

Light and Joy!

Ahoj!

I hope that you all had a fabulous week! Time just flies by on a mission. I
cannot believe that this coming week is transfers! I will find out where I
will be for the next 9 weeks soon!

This week we went contacting about gifts. We would ask “What is the best
gift that you have ever received?” And then we would lead into our Savior
when we found relation of where happiness comes from. Such a wonderful
topic!

Taking heed on the spirit and having trust is one of the greatest things
that I think I have learned this transfer. There are just so many good
things a head of us, that we really gotta live in the moment and make the
best of what we have! I know that our Heavenly Father blesses us each and
every single day. This week he blessed me a ton!

We had just finished our contacting time and then decided to stop and tract
just a few houses. I had a feeling to turn back and go to one. I am so
happy that we did. We rang at the gate and a young man opened his window,
smiled and said he would come down. We got excited. He come out and said
mormons!!! (We never get this, especially with excitement!) He was so happy
and smiley and just glad to see us. We found out he had met with the
missionaries about 8 years ago and he asked who sent us. I know that we
were supposed to find him. And because of the light and sweet guidance
received, we found this gem.

It is amazing just so amazing. Missionary work is the best.

I love the scipture 2 Nephi 19:6. It brought me so much comfort this week.
It talks about who our Savior is to us. I loved the word, “Counselor”. He
is there for us. Always. He wants to talk to us and help us, and if we seek
Him, I believe that we can receive so much comfort. I have found this to be
true.

Remember this week to just stay positive, and share your light!!!
