Letters from our missionary in the Czech/Slovak Mission

Srdce

Ahoj!

Srdce, means heart in Czech:) My heart has been filled to the brim, serving
for my Heavenly Father, and it continues to overflow each day.

This week we went to a training in Prague, and we got to hear from a member
of the seventy! His name is Elder Sabin, and oh my goodness I could have
listened to him alllll day!!!
Two of my favorite things that he talked about were how we can all take
celestial steps. A little bit each day:) We need to build our foundation on
the doctrine of Christ. And by doing so, we can do all things! Ultimately,
my favorite thing that he closed with was “Everything always comes back to
love”. Each kind action, every warm smile, every laugh, every good thought,
there are so so many things that we can do to feel and express love. That
is one of my favorite things to talk with people out on the streets. Co vam
dava štěsti? What gives you happiness? As we converse, it is a perfect
opportunity for me to bare testimony of our Loving Heavenly Father, and His
son. I can share how we can feel His love, and remind them that we are all
children of God.

This week one thing we did, was we took a day traveling around visiting the
less actives. We made little banana bread for each of them, and attatched a
note about God’s love, and scripture from the bible talking about how He
never forgets any of us. It was a wonderful experience, giving and reaching
out to others.

I also got to give my first talk yesterday at church! I got to speak on how
we can feel joy through teaching. It was a great way for me to express how
grateful I am for the gift of the Holy Ghost, and when we teach one another
we can help others feel it, and we can all build our testimonies.

I was reading last night in Mosiah chapter 2 and in verse 6 it talks about
how they all pointed there doors towards the temple. Are your “doors” aimed
towards the temple? I think that this is great thing to think about. What
am I doing right now to keep on the lighted path? How can I share what
brings me so much happiness with others? People can see your light. Keep
pressing on!

I love you all and hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
