Letters from our missionary in the Czech/Slovak Mission

XOXO

Ahoj!!!

This has been one of the most amazing weeks ever! Plzen is so so wonderful.
I do not even know where to begin with this week.

Okay well lets start with this, every week we have district meetings with
the missionaries that serve in our area. This week we talked about “Why
Serve a Mission?”. It is incredible to hear the different reasons that we
all came out to serve.

To share our love for the Savior
To serve and help others
To share the Spirit
To bring others the happiness that we have in our hearts
To walk with Christ
To help people come to know our Heavenly Father

The list can go on and on. But It is just so great how we have this time
dedicated specifically to do all we can to GIVE to others. I feel so
blessed.

We had an amazing lesson with a young girl, and she wanted to have a
relationship with our Savior. It was one of the most spiritual lessons that
I have ever been apart of. Because I got to share so much of the love that
I have for Him. And she thought that it was so cool! The spirit was so
strong and you could feel it within your heart.
She was speaking to us in English and before we closed she said can I ask
one more question. We said of course! She asked us if it was hard for us to
be away from our families and home for so long. I told her that yes it can
be hard, but that the gospel has brought me immense happiness. That I have
been blessed to grow up in a home with it, and that there is just so much
love in my family because of it. So the fact that I get to spend a year and
a half sharing with others that happiness, makes it all worth it. We are
away from our families for a little time, but it is so great because we get
to share the message that families can be together forever and having that
chance, to help others be together for an eternity is the best thing that I
could ever ask for.

It is amazing how strong the spirit is when you take heed on promptings. I
had a super cool experience tracting, and no one was answering. We started
walking away and I got this really bad feeling, and it told me to turn
around and try once more. So I did and they answered on that ring! It was
amazing!

I love the scripture in Jacob 3:2 it talks about how we can feast on His
love. I know that if we trust in Him anything is possible.

I love you all and hope you have a fantastic week!

Hi, Autumn. I LOVE reading your letters each week. I told your dad after I read your first letter how blessed I felt to be a “real” part of your mission.
I also told him that your letters have inspired and impressed me to the point of reading the scriptures and remembering to look for missionary moments.
I am so proud of you.
    With much love, Dianne Souders.
