Hey guys,
Sorry that I haven’t wrote alot in the passed couple weeks but it’s been pretty crazy! So I’m still super new to Greeneville but that definitely didn’t hold them back in my ward haha!
So last week was my first time going to church in my new area and before asking me what my name was or getting to know me, my bishop asked me if I could pray today in church and give a talk next Sunday! They’re definitely keeping me on my toes Haha!
I was asked to speak on a Talk given By Neil L. Anderson in the October 2020 conference called “We Talk of Christ!” This is such a great talk, and its really one of my favorites! As I was preparing for my talk that I gave on Sunday my mind instantly when to how important it is to have Christ as the center of our lifes! A quote given by President Nelson says “As we invest time in learning about the savior and his atoning sacrifice, we are drawn to him, our focus becomes riveted on the savior and his gospel”. Our Savior tells us to “Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.” That is exactly what we must do!
About a month ago my mission had the opportunity to hear from Elder Kearon who is on the presidency of the quorum of 70! He talked almost entirely on how important it is to always keep ourselves humble! He told us that if any person were to see us they should be able to see the Savior! As we do this our lives will be blessed in ways we can’t even amazing!
He continued on about how Crucial Missionary work is! It doesn’t matter if you’re 8 years old or your 80, there will always be opportunities to be missionaries! This is something that hit me so strongly! I just want to testify how important it is to always be looking for missionary opportunities! As full time missionaries we’re constantly moving and changing areas, never staying to long in an area but that is why it’s such a blessing for you members! As you make those relationships with your friends and neighbors always find missionary opportunities to talk about Christ!
In my last area this is something that really made a difference! We asked all the members to pray in the morning  and night and ask Heavenly Father who they could visit that was not a member of our Church! We Gave every family in the ward a Book of mormon and asked them to write down their testimonies and give it to someone that they felt prompted too!
A week later missionaries would check up on them and see how they were doing! The results were better than I could have ever imagined!  I now encourage y’all to try it! As you pray to find people, God will bless you with success. It is my testimony that as we center in Jesus Christ and talk of Christ we can always feel his love!
I know that the Savior loves every single one of us and he atoned for us all! It is such a blessing that I get to serve the people of Tennessee and I want to say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Love y’all❤
