The Work is Going Great

This week has been super busy! We came across this woman named Carolyn! She told us how grateful she was that we called her and how she knows that God is watching over her! 

We got to teach her in person on Wednesday and our lesson went so well! We taught her all about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the book of Mormon and she loved it! We asked her if she would come to church on Sunday and she said she definitely wouldn’t miss it!😁 

Let me give some back ground on this amazing woman! She was raised Baptist like pretty much everyone is in the south but always felt that she was missing something in life! Throughout her life she has had many extremely challenging events! She told us about how her father left their family and that she had to raise her siblings and then she told us how her husband died years back so they never had the chance to have kids! She’s about 55 years old and retired so remember that!

Well one day she just had this huge feeling that she needed to adopt, so she adopted 3 little kids! The kids she adopted are 6, 4, and 3 and they’re the cutie little kids I have ever seen! About 3 months ago a tornado hit Tennessee and completely destroyed her house! 

This lady had to move into a rental house with her 3 freaking babys!! Like what the heck! She is so amazing! Life keeps throwing this girl down but her faith in God has always helped her get through it! I feel so much love for Carolyn! We’re meeting with her again on Sunday and I’m so excited to see where this leads! Heavenly Father has really been helping us out lately! 

The work is starting to move forward and I’m so grateful for it!😁❤ I’ll keep you guys updated on her and all the new people we come in contact with! I’m sending my love from Tennessee!
