Hey guys,
So this week has been pretty cool! We have been trying to talk to as many people as we can. We contacted around 40 people with almost no luck…but one day we were doing this thing we call gray dot hopping, which is where we drive to investigators houses and see how many people we can try and give lessons too!
Well, we went to about 15 homes with no luck. I was feeling a little bummed out but then I felt a huge feeling to keep walking up the road! I told Elder Pauni that we should keep walking, right in the middle of this neighborhood full of trailer park houses, we see a man outside and we start talking to him! He gave us a little bit of his back story. He just got divorced and had to take his little girl to her mom’s. We told him about who we were and what we do and he seems super interested!
We are planning a lesson with him next week! It’s pretty amazing how our Father in Heaven works!
Okay so I have one more story for you guys! We have been meeting with this guy named trace who is a recovering addict. He was doing really good and we talked with him alot! He told us that he would go to church this Sunday so we were pretty pumped😂 Well we don’t hear from him for like 4 days…we start thinking he doesn’t wanna see us. so we ended up going to his house. Well, his roommate tells us, Trace came home almost blackout drunk on Thursday, so his roommate told him he had to leave because he was drunk… so he was kicking Trace out of his house! Well after hearing this, Trace jumped on him and started choking him out!! So the guy called the cops and Trace is in jail for the next little bit and that’s way he hasn’t been calling back!😂😂
