Ahoj!!

Wow well I can barely even remember what happened this week, it was very
longggg but filled with great memories.

Well on Monday we went over and had a lesson with our sweet investigator
Monička. She is getting baptized this weekend! I am so excited for her. It
was been amazing to see her develop a true desire to learn more about the
gospel. At first church was more of a place for her to make friends, but
now she is building both friendships with these people and with Jesus
Christ. It has blown me away to see someone so young, get excited to meet
and learn.

On Tuesday we had a good tour around Třebíč for the last time with our
whole district. Oh NEWS I am no longer in Třebíč anymore. Now I am in
Uherske Hradište. It is a little town kind of near Slovakia. It was hard
for me to leave but at the same time I was able to feel the power and
comfort from my loving Heavenly Father. These last twelve weeks I have
developed a strong strong love for the members and the less actives and our
investigators. More than ever before. I think that was because I was
beginning to think less of myself and other things and focusing on them.
That is the key! It is trusting in God that He will place us in the right
path with the right people and that we will be happy when we lose ourselves
in the service and happiness of others!*But it is one thing to find the
key, it is another to actually use it and unlock the world of joy that is
on the otherside.* Something that I have learned is that with joy comes
pain, without it, we would not know what joy was.

We had a wonderful training in Brno this week and one of my most favorite
things that we talked about was how we have a Loving Heavenly Father. That
is all that we talked about for fourty mintues and it was amazing. Then a
sister missionary went up and sang a song called Otče Můj. That translates
to Father Mine, or My father. That was one of the most powerful moments
that I have ever experienced feeling how much he loves me. The room was
silent and filled with the spirit touching our hearts through her voice.
There is a quote from the twelve apostles which recalls how out of all
titles that God has, he asks us to call him Father. I know that He is
there. And He loves you. Here are the beautiful lyrics to that song O My
Father:

*. O my Father, thou that dwellest In the high and glorious place, When
shall I regain thy presence And again behold thy face? In thy holy
habitation, Did my spirit once reside? In my first primeval childhood Was I
nurtured near thy side?*

*2. For a wise and glorious purpose Thou hast placed me here on earth And
withheld the recollection Of my former friends and birth; Yet ofttimes a
secret something Whispered, “You’re a stranger here,” And I felt that I had
wandered From a more exalted sphere.*

*3. I had learned to call thee Father, Thru thy Spirit from on high, But,
until the key of knowledge Was restored, I knew not why. In the heav’ns are
parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare! Truth is reason; truth
eternal Tells me I’ve a mother there.*

*4. When I leave this frail existence, When I lay this mortal by, Father,
Mother, may I meet you In your royal courts on high? Then, at length, when
I’ve completed All you sent me forth to do, With your mutual approbation
Let me come and dwell with you.*

We also had a day completely full of finding. Some of our plans and lessons
fell through so we were out on the streets most of the day. there was a
little time where something came over me and I felt like I could go no
more, but I felt a push that kept me going, and we ended up meeting a few
amazing people that evening. Then we had a really yummy dinner with some of
our English students!!!

We also did some less active visits, visited some investigators and had a
little barbeque on Saturday. Each thing that we do is just sooo great!!

Then on Sunday we had the opportunity to fast and to celebrate Mothers Day!
I got to give my testimony during sacrament meeting and then Sister Wilson
and I gave all the mothers some homemade banana bread. They loved it! Then
we actually taught in young womens! Yep, you guessed it, we talked about
missionary work, but it was great! We got to hear the conversion story of
our young womens president.

Then we got to skype our families. I can just put it out there and say that
I took my family for granted. They were always right there, either a car
ride, phone call, facetime, text, or room away. Being on the otherside of
the world has made me realize how thankful I am for them. They mean the
world to me. I love them so very much. Feeling the immense love for them
helps me understand the power and love of God even more. I would like to
wish a happy belated mothers day to all the great women back home.
Especially my mom. Mom, you are amazing and I am so grateful for all that
you do for our family. She is the most wonderful example to me, and I hope
to be able to reflect some of your fantastic attributes.

Jeremiah 1:8 “I am WITH YOU”. I know that He is there.

Something that we were challenged to do recently was to pray and ask how
Heavenly Father how much He loves that. I want to challenge you to do that.
The blessings and comfort that come are undescribable.

Love you all and hope that you have a fabulous week!

S láskou,

Sestra Miller
