Ahoj!!

Usměv means to smile! I noticed multiple times throughout the week that my
cheeks were really sore, and I was trying to get to the conclusion as to
why. I smiled and then I was like oh, I felt a tingle of pain. I think I
have been smiling too much;) that is impossible though! A smile can bring
so much happiness and light in such a simple way, I might make that a goal,
have sore cheeks at the end of the day;)

This week I was really reflecting on what it means to give service. As I
was studying about it I came across something that I just thought was one
of the best things ever! And that is, that we can receive the most
happiness through the happiness of others. Isn’t that wonderful?! By giving
to others, we are just setting ourselves up on this path of limitless
happiness.
In our most recent training, we were told that every day can be a
Thanksgiving, if we are grateful. I know that there are little blessing in
every day. And a way we can give and receive one of the best blessings is
through service. Because you always feel good after doing, you make someone
else feel good and you are making God happy too:)

This week there were so many great things that happened and just not enough
time to tell!

Long story short, we were doing a chalk display and I saw a young man run
after the tram and he got to the door but it did not open and it left. He
hung his head and walked off to the side. I knew we needed to go talk to
him. We shared a short thought with him and then his bus came along, gave
him a card, and he smiled, hopped on and waved goodbye!

We also had a sweet lesson with an investigator. We were reading in the
Book of Mormon, and we got to be apart of something so special. Receiving
answers through scripture. The spirit grew so strong, and I just felt so
blessed to witness a testimony growing. My own and theirs.

I love the scripture Mosiah 2:17. It talks a little more about serving
others and how we can serve Him. I know that He is smiling down on us.

The pictures are of the missionaries and two members! We went to the
lighting of the Christmas tree:) The missionaries had a fried chicken
Thanksgiving, and a then there is view of the street from one tram stop.

Have a fabulous week and keep shining your lights!
