Ahoj!

I cannot believe that it is already Christmas week! Man that came oh so
fast! Here in the Czech Republic they actually celebrate it on the 24th!
And then it last for three days:) so that will be a fun little change!

This last week was great:) Every week just gets better and better. I feel
like when you give to others, and try to focus less on personal needs, you
come to find what true joy is. It is so great helping other people be happy!

One afternoon this week we visited a really sweet older member. We
practically had our own little tea party:) It was so much fun! We talked
about the light of Christ and how we can share our testimonies with others.

One thing I love here in the city is how nice the bus drivers are;) we were
BOOKING IT down the street, trying to make it on time to a lesson, and I
know that he waited a little extra so that we could make it on. So that was
really really nice.

We have a Christmas party on Friday with the members and some visitors:) it
was so fun hearing the Czech Christmas songs and watching them doing the
nativity scene. The missionaries sang Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer and
they LOVED IT!

I also got the chance to welcome a really sweet family who went and sat in
the back by themselves. I was able to make some small talk with them, with
my Czech and it was so cool connecting with them. There was one time where
I kinda lost words to say, so I pulled out a Christmas song that we would
be singing and then the little boys started singing along with me. It is
amazing the ways that you can connect with others. In small in simple
things, great things truly do come to pass.

On Saturday we got to have our culture day! We went and got a little taste
of the theatre. They preformed Swan Lake! It was beautiful! One of the
ballerinas slipped, but kept going and it was so gorgeous. I thought to
myself how it was almost better for there to be a mistake. Because it
showed that not everything is perfect, but can still turn out so wonderful.
Sometimes things may not go exactly the way we want them to, but we can
look at how far we have come and have the positivety to keep going!

We also got to go caroling and that is always fun. We had some really
window chats:)

At church I there is this really sweet grandpa from Germany, he speaks a
little Czech-so I have connected with him pretty well. I LOVE talking with
him. Even though we may not be able to communicate in words great, our
actions and care sometimes mean more than words.

I love Alma 26:11-12 It talks about how our joy can be full and when we
really remember our blessings and where they come from, we can do anything
and everything with our faith!

I hope you all have a blessed Christmas. Remember the true meaning of this
time. Our Savior Jesus Christ. I can testify as a missionary for fim, that
he loves each and every one of you. SO MUCH. And I love you too!!

Veselé Vánoce!

S laskou
