Ahoj!
Well it is December! It is time to LIGHT THE WORLD! I am so pumped for the
fun challenge that the church has put out to support everyone in doing acts
of service each day. It truly will bring the spirit of Christ to be with us
in all that we do. Because after all charity is the pure love of Christ.
We had an amazing meeting last Sunday at a members home. Lots of people
were there. Members and investigators, and friends. It was an uplifting
night. We shared the Christmas initiative with everyone and it was a big
hit. It is so cool how even non believers who attended felt the Spirit and
enjoyed the time being in an atmosphere with a happy uplifting spirit. I
actually got to see a few members and investigators visiting from my last
area. It was so great to see them .You just create such meaningful
relationships with people when serving on a mission.
I have actually not been out as much as I would have liked to this week,
due to illness, but I have still seen so many miracles happen!!! It is so
incredible. Being apart of a leadership role has given me the opportunity
to really help encourage the work within my mission. We are witnessing huge
miracles happening here in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
My investigator Michal excepted a baptismal date in Boleslav!!!! So did the
other Michal from Slovakia!! I am so EXCITED! Even though I am not there to
see the progress happening, it makes my heart burn with the spirt. Just
knowing that they are still accepting the gospel and wanting to make these
covenants with God, that is helping fulfill the missionary purpose. I just
love these people!!!
I am also really excited for everything happening here in Prague! We had
some great meetings this week and are seeing a lot of people finding that
this path really is the one that leads to God. How great this work is!! I
just love being a part of it. Truly it is the greatest joy.
Try and find something to share your joy with someone this week! God loves
you and I love you. I hope that you can have a chance to watch the Light
the World video. Try some of the everyday challenges!
